Lion took in a slow breath through his nose. At least Sugar wouldn't be harrassing any other horses. He started walking away from the ferns, towards where he knew Wild West's territory started. Lion wanted a new herd, to prove that he could be more than a stupid young stallion. He knew he would never get Rose back... but he could try to fix his mistake with other mares. From what Lion herd, there was a mare named Harper that was looking for a herd...

"Sounds good." she told Tiger.

Tiger nodded, and trotted forward, he raised his head to the wind, sniffing at what could be there

While Harper waited for Moon and Aurora, she glanced around. A strong looking seal brown stallion caught her eye, and she turned her head to gaze at him for a moment. -I have never seen anyone look so dejected- Harper thought, and decided that with her free time, she would go see what the matter was. Harper took off at a canter, going up the hill and to the stallion. "Hey! What's wrong?" She asked cheerfully

Lion lifted his head slightly as a pretty mare cantered up. He wasn't really expecting that. "Nothing, I'm fine." He answered, his instincts taking over for a moment. No, he wasn't fine, but why would she care

Harper narrowed her eyes slightly. She could obviously tell this stallion wasn't fine. "What's your name? I'm Lyre's Harp, but you can call me Harper. Nice to meet you." Harper introduced herself, a bright smile on her face

Lion looked a little taken-aback, but he cleared that look rather quickly. "I'm Sea Lion, but you can call me Lion. It is nice to meet you as well, Harper." He answered, a bit warily. Lion was definetely not ready to just.. let another mare in, after what happened with Sugar. Little did he know Harper was going to steal his heart.

Harper nodded, her eyes lighting up a little. "Lion, that's an interesting name." She commented. "C'mon over here Lion, and we'll have a little race. How fast can you run?" She asked daringly, prancing down to a flat spot
| |

Lion opened his mouth to say something but snapped it shut again as Harper pranced off. He was quite reluctant to follow, but did anyway. Lion stopped near her and finally answered. "Racing sounds... fun... and I guess you'll see how fast I am." He might not have exactly meant the words he said, since he had never actually raced before

Angel stood there listening. Was all those things tiger say a lie? Was that just a resin to make her come?
