Sage hadn't really been allowed to leave grace's room, or get off her bed, unless she had some other job for him to do. Though, when the police barged into the house, he wasn't too sure what to expect. He scrambled away from them, but ended up passing out. He woke up in som e kind of doctor place...but he had a metal muzzle on, and his wrists were chained tightly to the bed. The realization made him panic, and he thrashed around until hed exhausted himself again

Chloe was getting worried. why hadn't the police gotten back to her. Chloe jumped on her bike and went to the police station gun in bag. She left the bag on her bike. "Where's sage." She demanded they told her exactly where he was. Chloe then got on her bike and rode to the place. She put her gun in her pocket and bashed down the door. "Where's sage give him over now." She told the scientists. When they refused she grabbed out the gun. "Cmon now don't be shy" Chloe was quite cunning and could get things done easily.

Sage had heard the commotion outside the lobby and his ears perked up. The scientist in the room shoved his head back onto the table, and said "don't move dog" before putting a needle in his neck. He got angry and started trying to fight them again, which resulted in more chaos even though he was still sick and hurt and weak, and whatever they'd put in him was making him more tired and groggy.

The scientist thought the gun was fake and laughed. Chloe shot the ceiling and the scientist took her to sage. "What did you do to him" she said as she pointed the gun at the guy with the needle. Chloe felt a worrying feeling form in her stomach. What if they were killing him? Chloe told them to fix him and hand him over.

Sage blinked over at chloe, half asleep by the time she'd gotten there. The scientist back away from him and chloe. "it'll wear off, don't get all up and mad," he snapped at chloe. Sage only barely heard him though, he was on the verge of unconsciousness by then, though he was fighting it as best he could.

Chloe looked at the guy. "Untie him and take off his muzzle" Chloe said, when they had untied him she walked up to sage and helped him. Chloe helped sage to the door. A scientist rushed at her with a needle Chloe turned and shot the dudes arm. "Don't test me" she snarled.

Sage grunted and sort of staggered after Chloe when she grabbed him. He'd been untied, but the muzzle was still on. He didn't think it was still locked, but that didn't matter. He noticed the scientist confront them and snarled at him, baring his fangs. The combination of that and the gun made the man turn and run, though sage knew he'd be back with help.

Chloe helped sage on to her dirt bike. "You good to ride?"" She asked before hoping on she put her gun in her pocket. She started the bike and slowly drove off. (It's short cause I'm at school( in class sorta)rn)

Sage sort of nodded breathlessly, trembling fingers fumbling to unclasp the muzzle and toss it to the side before climbing onto the bike behind Chloe, rubbing his jaw where the metal had been pressing against it.

Chloe rode off to the stable. She helped sage off and into his trailer. As she helped him her sleeve revealed the cuts down her arm. Chloe then walked out and took a puff of her vape before going into her own cabin.
