Though it was only 5 am, Isabella's boss was pissed at how 'late' she was.

"ISABELLA! Why are you so late?" Chris yelled.

"KC couldn't swallow again..." Bella explained.

"I don't care for excuses!" Chris yelled. Bella shook her head and headed to clean the floors and the counters before people wake up and arrive.

After a few more rounds of practice Jayce finally got his speech perfected. "Now I just have to say it in front of the whole town," Jayce says, hiding his nervousness. "You will do great Señor," Luca says in his cheerful, accented voice, "you did good in front of me so you will do good in front of everyone!" Jay walks over and ruffles Luca's hair, "Thanks Luca. Now I should probably go speak with my mother and father."

She sighed. She had been working for hours and not one of the customers woke up! Isabella had no clue what the big deal was if she was half an hour late, if she always finished so early, and still got yelled at if stopped working.

'I mean there are some pretty serious rumours. But seriously, like the prince will come here!' The gloomy thought hung over her head. Jayce was a freaking hot prince! Isabella knew that if the prince were to arrive here, she wouldn't be able to pay attention, resulting in more work...

"I can pay attention if he's here, for Taco." she stated.

After a pretty long conversation with his parents, and a little bit of begging, Jayce was happy to hear that he could go out and walk around the town. "Don't be gone for long," he mother tells him, "we need to be getting ready soon." Jay nodded before gesturing to Luca as the two left the palace. He always liked to take Luca with him since the boy never got to leave the palace a lot. They walked around the main part of town where all of the inns and shops were. People stopped and bowed to him if they had time but some would just smile and wave, which Jay still found acceptable since they were working.

Once her short shift was over she ran to go to her horse and accidentally bumped into the hot prince.

"oh my god! I am so sorry!" she apologized wholesomely. She hoped the prince would forgive her, so her horses don't have to suffer for their master's mistake. Anyone who knew Isabella knew she would give her life to prevent any suffering in her horses. Most times when she goes hungry, it's because she couldn't afford hay, vet bills, and her own food. Unlike a normal person, she always put her horses above herself and if needed would cut out her food budget so her horses got enough to eat.

He about fell to the ground when a person bumped into him, but Luca caught him before he did. Jayce looked at the person who ran into him and saw that it was a peasant girl around his age. "It's fine," he says with a small smile, "you were in a rush. Besides no harm was done, I'm not hurt or anything." Luca was checking over Jay as he spoke and once done inspecting the prince stood a few steps away to let the two talk.

She nodded her head saying that she understands, though she didn't hear a word he said, except 'no harm done.' Isabella rushed off to go see her baby Taco and KC. Bella still didn't know what to do with KC, she was in pain and Bella doesn't have a gun. She also can't afford the vet bill to put her down, so as she got to her horses, she cried on KC. The old mare was in clear pain but, Bella was helpless. She hated this feeling. Of not being able to do something when one of her horses were involved. But, it was a large risk to put them in more pain if she tries to get help from people as she might end up somewhere and her horses wouldn't know what to do.

After the tears had subsided, she snuggled Taco is the dreaming pose and told him about what happened.

"I ran right into the prince today, Taco! Can you believe it?" Taco is pretty smart and as she asked him if he could believe it he shook his head in a no.

He watched as the girl rushed off and didn't think too much about it. 'Everyone is running around trying to get ready for the festival anyway,' he thinks. Him and Luca continued to walk around the town, observing the decoration being put up for the festival. "When is the festival Prince Jayce," Luca asks him, looking up at Jay with big, dark brown eyes. Jayce thought for a moment before saying, "It starts tomorrow evening. Not many of the festivities will start until the day after tomorrow, but me and my parents have to start it off with our speeches."

As Taco shook, trying to get this heavy girl to stop leaning on his colt-y figure.

"oh right, sorry Taco." she apologized to the large colt figure.

"oh my goodness!" she screeched at her horse. As Isabella just realized she won't be working any more today or tomorrow. Her boss, didn't want her to be seen at the inn during the festival as he wanted to appear professional. Not raggedy and a workplace for homeless people, he had stated. But, the most exciting part was that she could compete in barrels, roping and, jumping, and even, vaulting! Taco was an expert at anything he wanted to do and, if it meant he got quality time with Bella, he was in.

Isabella ran off as she needed to clean her tack immediately.

Jayce and Luca had walked around and check on all of the festival areas just as the sun was a past noon but still low in the sky. "Let's head back to the palace Luca," Jayce says and watches as his servant nods at his suggestion. The two begin their walk back to the palace and once there are approached by his mother. "Where have you been," the queen asks him. "Out checking on the festival set up," Jay says and gestures for Luca to go to his room. "Well me and your father have been looking for you," the queen says and starts to lead Jay to the thrown room, "we want to hear your speech." Jay swallows nervously and nods as they walk into the large thrown room. His father was sitting in his thrown and his mother quickly walks to her's. "Go on," he father says with a gesture to Jayce. Jayce takes a deep breath, fixes his posture and recites his speech. His parent's faces are neutral the entire time he talks and once done they stay the same. "Well done son," his father says, "you may leave now." Jayce bows and walks out of the room and let's out a huge sigh once out of it.
