Sage made sure the door was closed and the windows were drawn before starting to morph back. It took maybe an hour or so, since he was hurrying, and once he was back to his human stage he just...lay there panting and trying to get the pain under control enough to crawl onto the couch |

chloe walked into the cabin to see the kitchen left in a mess. she sighed as she walked into her room that was still clean. she lay down on her bed after changing. chloe started thinking about things.  chloe then got a phone call. he father had been in a car crash and was in hospital. the doctor didnt think hed make it. chloe rushed to hospital and her father said that he was sorry. her father told chloe she would get the stables and he knew her birthday was comming up but he wanted to give chloe her present now. a man walked in leading a dapple grey frisian cross. |

Sage eventually fell asleep once he got to the couch, and when he woke up late the next morning, he found the place in a buzz. The man in charge was ... dying? Chloe's dad? He wished he could feel bad about it, but he didn't like the man much, and his own father experiences had been...awful to say the least. |

chloe was driven back by the man with the horse. "does he have a name?" she asked the man. the man said no. a 4 year old with nop name? thats strange. when they got back chloe lead her new stallion into the round pen. the stallion was scared of humans and it made chloe sad. she got the phone call saying her father passed around noon after she had put the stallion in his stall and fed the horses. she lay on her bead and started crying. |

Sage wasn't too sure about what to do with everything besides just...go work. Feed the horses and do what he could. He was definitely still sore...limping around actually. Thankfully, all the other grooms weren't there. No doubt they thought that if the boss wasn't there then they didn't have to work. He did see a new horse....Chloe had gotten another one? Well, he seemed skittish, so he worked with the stallion for a while until the horses was ok with him petting him. |

Chloe woke up there next day. She knew she'd have to get the grooms up. She walked to the grooms cabins and knocked on every door getting them up. She then walked to the stables and fed her own horses. She then sat on the fence of the round pen watching the stallion. She dropped into the pen and the stallion charged at her. She hit her hand on her leg causing the horse to rear and swerve away. Chloe wasn't quite acting like herself. She seemed at little sadder and she was a little more mean.  |

Sage had stayed around the barn, and when he saw Chloe he heasitated to go over to her. She'd just lost her father....but would she want someone to talk to? Well, he was done working so he could try. He wandered over to her and leaned his forearms against the fence next to her. "He's a pretty horse." |

Chloe nodded as she watched the horse gallop around . "He wasn't nice but I still miss him" she said sounding sad. Grace wouldn't come back for a while. Chloe walked over to the stallion. She was more careless and reckless then ever before. |
