She nodded and slowly pulled herself out of the water. She rolled in the warm sand before coming back to the water to wash off

West watched Dixie pull herself out before relaxing again, his muscles letting loose as he finally got cooled back down to normal temperature. -I'm never running like that again- He thought wearily with a slight chuckle

Dixie bumped West. She was still a little short to stand where he could so she kept herself afloat. She craned her neck to keep her nostrils above water because sometimes she wasn't the best swimmer. She almost gave up when she decided to try harder. Wasn't working well

Aurora glanced back at West and Dixie before settling far out in the ocean. He just swam back and forth in the deep water liking the cold rush of small waves go past him every now and then. As he got more tired from swimming he began to sink further and further down into the water, his eyes a few inchs away from going underwater. Panic finally set in as he made his way back to the shallower end which was takign longer since how far he had gone out. Once he did reach the shallower water he began to cough and hack up water from his throat since his mouth was underwater sometimes

West glanced at Dixie with a slight chuckle, seeing she may have been a little short for where he was standing... so he just kind of waded a little inland. He glanced up as Aurora swam back, hacking and coughing. -I was afraid that would happen- West thought gruffly, but sometimes colts had to learn their lessons from experience. "You okay?" He asked, just to ... make sure

Aurora kepy walkign until he was somewhat on shore but his hooves were still getting hit by waves. He glanced over at West "Yeah just peachy" He said through small coughs before getting up fully onto the shore to take a break from swimming at that moment

Dixie noticed that West was moving inland so she followed, grateful when she could finally touch land. Dixie got a bright idea after he had made sure Aurora was ok. Dixie splashed West as she forced her legs to work at a trot. She let her hooves fall to the water harder than usual so she splashed more in him. -thank goodness I'm fast. He can splash me more than I can him!- Dixie tossed her head when she got out of the water

"Just ... peachy. Okay then." West said, but inside he thought -I must be older then I imagined. Is *just peachy* a great new phrase to say your fine?- He thought with an irritated snort. When water started splashing him West turned his attention to Dixie. "Are you trying to drown me?" West snorted, though he sounded amused. It was probably time to go ashore anyway... horses weren't marine animals.

Dixie giggled and splashed him more "come on big guy, play with me!" She said as she trotted in the shallow end and splashed him more and more

-Guess my new name is big guy. Okay then- West thought with a small sigh, perking his ears at Dixie. "Play> What does THAT word mean?" He asked sarcastically with a smile, dropping his head and just about flinging his neck through the water so liquid sprayed all over Dixie
