West couldn't help but glance up to see Phantom not with the herd, which momentarily gave him a heart attack but then he remembered. -oh yes. Terrible memory. Tiger left, Phantom went to say goodbye I guess- West thought, fixing his gaze on the foals to forget about that again for the time being. "Uh huh, that's what the bully said to the horse he pushed. *Didnt see you there*" West replied with a sniff, though a smile soon formed on his face. He cantered after both the foals, staying a little ways behind. Another thought crept in, one that West knew was not necessary and he didn't need now... but it did anyway. -If I was going to leave like that, would anyone care?- he thought, but finally just had to yell at his brain to shut up. He couldn't think like that, mostly because he could not get any more worried or tired. He had already hit rock bottom, so thinking like that was just... sad. West lengthened his canter a little then lunged into An easy gallop to come right behind Aurora.

Dixie looked around and noticed that West and the foals were gone. Dixie stopped scratching herself and went for a swim in the stream. She blew bubbles in the water and rolled in the shallow water. She splashed around. She felt kinda lonely. - Scarlet and Macy slowed to a stop in the center of the field. Scarlet kicked up her heels and played tag with her mother. The two played happily for a while before collapsing in the grass. Scarlet rolled but Macy just laid there, completely content.

West decided to just take it easy for a little bit, and stayed a couple feet behind Aurora. He caught glimpses of the herd as he cantered along the beach, seeing Dixie rolling in the water. -Must feel good- West thought, turning his gaze back to the foals

Dixie stood and shook, shaking water all over the place. She caught West looking at her and she flicked her tail. -I really hope no one wants to baby me since I had colic. I'm fine now- Dixie lowered her head and watched the minnows swim in the stream.

(XDD baby Dixie? West would never... why do you think he left with the foals haha)) - Thoughts flashed through his mind that he really didn't want there's. West flicked his tail, looking a Little annoyed, and just focused on spraying the sea water everywhere as his hooves flashed through it

(Lol yeah) Dixie continued to play in the water. At one point, she stood in the small bit of sand, letting her hooves sink into the sand and mud. She pulled her legs but her hooves wouldnt move. She pulled and one came out with a splosh Dixie heaved the other out and fell backwards with a hmph she grunted and stood, shanking off the grass and dirt and pawing at the water, getting the extra mud and sand off her hooves.

A splash distracted West and caused him to slow a little, glancing towards the herd. He had to crack a small smile when he saw Dixie shaking water and sand off. -At least she is feeling better- West thought with a pleased look, turning his gentle brown gaze back to the foals and speeding up a little to keep up

Dixie snorted and walked around in the water. She gave herself another shake. She lowered her head and grazed. She was bored. Like... really bored

West slowly dropped further behind the foals as he let himself slow to a canter, then a Trot. Finally a walk as he stalked after them... he would catch up later. He just needed to think at the moment. West shook his mane with a sigh and let thoughts swirl around in his head, particularly the sad one about if Phantom might leave. -She surely has every right to- he thought with a snort

Dixie remember what West had said about dogs. She knew only one thing about a dog: that a dog chases its tail. Dixie turns her bay head and looked at her black tail. She did a hip turn and tried to grab it with her teeth. She snorted when she missed and tried again. Again she missed. She started spinning and her tail slapped her in the side. Dixie bit her tail, pulling one hair out. She dropped it and flicked her tail, trotting in a small circle.
