Chloe looked around. She heard her name but didn't see anyone. 'What' she said in her mind. She thought it was the thing that bit her. She then climbed to the top of the tree. She looked at the mountain range and sat on the top branch.

Sage chuckled slightly at Chloe's confusion and watched her climb up the tree. "Relax...it's me," he told her, letting out a small outloud yip, wagging his tail. Hopefully, she'd get the message of who was talking to her.

chloe nodded as the wind blew through her hair. her hair tie fell out letting her hair fall down. chloe asked sage when he would change back. as grace was leaving tomorrow. phantom cantered around ahd then reared. he could tell there was another warewolf comming. she paced back and forth nervously he kept tossing his head and pawwing at the ground.

Sage shrugged and told her he'd probably change back later, around lunch time. He should have energy by then, and he could rest before returning to his cabin. His nose twitched when he smelled the other werewolf though, and his hackles raised as he scanned the area. He sort of hoped for a fight though...winning a fight against other werewolves made you stronger ...and if he could raise up to be an alpha rank....well, it would make a lot of things a heck of a lot easier.

chloe quickly climbed down. she calmed down phantom, her long hair blowing in the wind. chloe looked back to see those ember eyes. at the sight phantom quickly bowed so chloe could get on. the wolf lunged at phantom as he reared chloe hung on to his mane.

Sage was ready for when the were wolf appeared, and they both lunged at the same time, so he collided with the other wolf mid-air. They landed whirliong around together in a rather viscious fight, teeth bared and ears flat against their skulls, and snarls rising from their throats as they pounded against eachother over and over again, each one trying to destroy the other. Sage was smaller...but he was also quicker, and he had a lot of fighting experience. It would be a hard battle, but he was fairly confident he'd win.

Phantom kept rearing and Chloe was slipping. Chloe was falling and fell on her feet. Phantom galloped off in a panic. Chloe jumped up to her tree and watched the fight.

Sage had known it would be a rough fight, but he hadn't expected it to last for so long, and he didn't have a whole lot of energy to spare on this other were wolf, so eventually he had to make the decision to dart in, take a hit, and deliver the blow that sent the other wolf staggering away. He would have chased it and gone for the kill, except now he'd torn his shoulder up...and he was exhausted, so he watched it go before sliding to the ground, panting.

Chloe looked down at sage. "Dumb ass" she said. Phantom came cantering back. Chloe hopped down and got a bandage to wrap his wound.

Sage heard Chloe but sort of just wagged his tail at her. He thought he'd done pretty good...but he wasn't going to try and explain the complicated heirarchy he was part of right then. "well what would have happened if I'd just stood there and let him eat you," he snorted in his mind to her, really just joking around but also slightly serious.
