Kai noticed up ahead was a open meadow with a few trees here and there and a lake, they found it! Kai started to gallop and yelped when he heard a snap coming from his leg Shadow cantered over to him and helped him up with the help of Shadow Kai towards the meadow with his herd in tow

West's eyes wandered over the plains, with the perfect little river where they were right next to the beach. It was all amazing, and he never wanted to leave. His mind slowly wandered back to the literal years he had spent trying to get this grass. It was probably the best and lushest on this side of the land. Then he had protected it from dozens of stallions that were just like him... but he managed to ward them all off. -The older I get the softer I get- West thought grumpily. Kai noticed in the distance a small fluff ball as it got closer he saw it was max but he didn't like who was following him Max's pack was here he whinnied at them in warning Max's mom Layla said "It is alright Ruben stand down" Ruben the pack alpha and Max's dad relaxed he barked at the others to stand down as Max did a barrel roll and stopped in front of Damari

Kai snorted and watched Ruben who noticed and growled the rest of the wolves growled as well and Kai became nervous and bucked

Suddenly Ruben pounced at Kai who whinnied loudly everything erupted into chaos Kai bucked and tried to shake Ruben off of him Layla Damari Max and Calypso ran for cover the rest of the horses fought for their lives

Phantom head shot up from the stream, her ears flicked wildly as she heard what sounded like panicked whinnies in the distances. She trotted fast towards the edge of their territory near where the old herd had left waiting and watching to see ifthats actually what she heard

Ruben Didn't let go of Kai who was losing a lot of blood Shadow kicked a wolf in the head then launched another into the air Anakin charged at a wolf who yelped in pan

Phantom glanced back at West then back in the direction -please don't hate me for this- She thought to herself before galloping off in the direction of the noises. She quickly came onto the other herd who was being attacked by wolves. Most seemed to be handling it themselves except for one who had a wolf holding onto him (aka Kai) She charged at the wolf and kicked it right in the ribs hoping it would let go
