He sighed and nodded. Her hand felt nice and he slowly calmed down a bit. When his breathing and heart rate had gone back to normal he opened his eyes again. "Thanks." He smiled softly. "You know, I think you've done more for me than I've done for you, which seems weird because I've literally been hunting down a murderer."

Lisa smiles and said " no your wrong you done a lot for me too much that I can say but i thank you for that being here right now alive not killed by any murder"

He chuckled. "Well then I guess we've both saved each other." He looked at her. "But seriously, you've done so much for me and I don't even think I deserve you in the first place. I don't even know why you like me but all I can say is I'm glad you do and I'm not arguing with you about my worth or whatever." He bit his lip and dropped his gaze, suddenly shy about what he was saying.

Lisa put her hand under his chin and lifts his head up and said " I like you because you are a kind sweet man and when I met you in knew even if we didn't know each other but i knew that you need someone and I step up and help " lisa smiles and then said " I through the same thing but we do deserve each other we go together"

He blinked slowly and sighed. "I know you're right I just...it's hard to believe. Literally everyone else I've known has said the exact opposite." He shrugged.

Lisa nods and said " don't worry about it I am not going anywhere you the only guy I can think to be with"

He smiled. "Yeah." He knew he would always think about the things that had been told to him up until now but he also knew he was getting better and could try to believe what Lisa was saying. Her hand was still under his chin and he kept it there. He kind of liked the feeling of being vulnerable around her - it just proved to him that he didn't have to be strong all the time and that she was always there if he needed her. She wouldn't turn her back on him because he wasn't perfect.
