Phantom nodded to Dixie "Good glad you are" She said softly before turnign her gaze over to West as he was talking to what seemed like the lead stallion of the herd. She huffed slightly starting to feel anxious and frustrated by the new herds presence. When West cantered up she listened to him "She's doing good, her stomach seems to be calming down now." She replied before glancing behin him seeing a small colt and a stallion run into the woods. Before she could say anything West was off again so she just watched the over her own herd while keeping an eye on the herd that had approched them. Phantom jumped hearing a loud yell from the woods she was over come with panic wondering if that was West and if he ws okay but she didn't want to leave the herd -please be okay...- She repeated in her head as she pranced in place. Phantom let out a sigh of relief seeeing West come out of the woods and back in "Thank god" She muttered to herself before turning her attention back to Dixie then the rest of the herd. She looked over seeing West come back "Hey are you-" Immeadiately she was cut off by the little colt she saw earlier who started talking then ran back to the other lead stallion -what the heck is going on- She thought to herself as her eyes darted across at each horse in the other herd, the feeling of frustration already starting to set in again

West nodded. "You're welcome." He said gently, though his posture was rather stiff... if was just hard to see. He watched the foal run off before turning his worried brown gaze to Dixie. "That's good." West commented slowly, shifting from one leg to another. He flicked his tail anxiously, though it was mostly from the stress of a new herd on his grazing lands. The ones he had established years before, defended, and taken care of. "Okay I'm sorry, this new herd has had me in a tizzy all morning. They moved in looking for food, the colt ran off and the lead stallion got chewed up by wolves so I had to help, then they said that I should be the colt's mentor. I kind of just brushed them off..." West trailed off with a weary huff. Edited at May 29, 2023 05:23 PM by Wild Warmbloods

Kai noticed a flower that had been uprooted he noticed a hole and gently nudged it back into the hole so it stood upright and covered the hole with dirt. He remembered running through plains like these wild and free a long time ago

Phantom picked up on Wests anxious behavior she watched him for a moment then listened as he rambled on. "West it's okay, take a deep breathe and calm down for a moment" She said softly keeping the worry out of her voice "It's a lot to take in especially all on your own so you don't have to apologize" She said with the same tone keeping herself relaxed so that hopefully West would feed off her energy

Kai noticed that some of the horses were glaring at him and his herd he told the others "Guys we outstayed our welcome....time to give up...and leave." his voice was full of hopelessness and he trotted towards the other side of the forest with his herd following him Damari started to cry his little voice sounded hurt and betrayed as he asked "why are we leaving dad?" Kai winced but didn't answer as they headed out of the plains and towards the forest Edited at May 29, 2023 05:38 PM by Hippogriff

Kai said "Come on guys we are almost there we can find food somewhere in the forest" Damari shook his head and looked back and spotted west his eyes filled with tears and shot past them into the forest sobbing loudly Kai yelled "Damari!" and went after him a wolf pup named Max heard the sobs and followed the sound he saw a foal sobbing softly he suddenly felt sad he wanted to cheer him up but everyone was scared of Max.

West blew a breath out, half angrily and half just listening to what Phantom said. "I'll be fine." He said with a glance towards where the horses were leaving. They couldn't have heard him, right? Worry started to settle in again, but this time more about the other herd. Had they heard him? Were they offended? Or did they just think they overstayed?

Phantom nodded her head slightly "I know you will" She said calmly in reply to what West said. She then turned her gaze to behind him seeing movement, which turned out to be the other herd. She was slightly relieved to see them leave but at the same time their lead had just got attacked by wolves, he should at least rest for a few more moments before picking up and leaving -stallions...- She thought to herself with a huff
