West was anxious about there being so many horses, and this mare seemed reluctant to talk, so he darted off towards where the group of horses stood. West stopped far enough away to not be considered a threat, peeking his ears. "Hello. Why are you here?" West asked, though not unfriendly. Then again... at this point he was anxious, a little angry, a little scared, and very tense, so it was hard to keep his voice kind.

Kai told him "We were hungry and we don't live too far from this pasture we live near a river."

Calypso the newest filly peeked from behind her mom's legs she was scared of West cause she knew he was skeptical of them being present Kai was ready to defend his herd.

West slowly observed the horses. There was literally a whole herd.... and ... a lead Stallion. That was the touchy part. West never held anything against someone, and he didn't judge by who you were or what gender you were, but having another lead Stallion on his land really didn't look the best. To other herds it made him look weak, which means different lead stallions might try to start taking the mares. Which just wouldn't be good for everyone. With those worried thoughts running through his mind West finally focused with a nod. "Do you plan on staying a while?" He knew that sounded blunt... but at this point... he was exhausted. He couldn't think up some special words to say to make sure to get answers and not sound a little blunt.

Kai said "Yes we had to escape wolves who had tracked us, they went after...." Kai choked up "Damari...." he finished Damari was his only colt.

Kai looked at the three mares of his herd they gave him a look warning him not to start a fight.

Kai said "Do you have a herd?" He wanted to be friendly and wanted West to trust him and his herd so they could have access to the pasture

-coolcoolcoolcool- West's brain slowly gave in. Any mention of wolves and a baby and he might actually melt. -Stupid weak mutter mutter...- His brain scolded, trailing off. "Okay, well I have something to deal with at the moment but I will be back." West said flatly, his voice not showing much emotion. He trotted back to where his small herd was gathered, twitching his pelt anxiously.

Kai turned to his herd and realized "where are Damari and Calypso?!" Anakin his second in command replied "over there Kai so stop it before you become prematurely old"

Kai glared at the other horse while his mate Shadow smiled and said "Kai honey you need to calm down it is alright." Kai relaxed and said "I know babe but what if Damari...gets killed by a snake or wolves?"
