Anna watched Brian and Cassa go through their dressage course. She was crossing her fingers hoping he wouldn't fall. Even if he did, she would be there for him through it all.

The speaker boomed in Brian's ears. He turned Cassa and lined up with his row of jumps and began encuoraging her to jump, they soared easily over the first one and started for the next.

Anna grinned. She clapped and watched Brian and Cassa. They were doing great. Her eyes were fixed on the last jump. It was the highest. She was so scared that Brian would get hurt.

Cassa neared the next jump, The last one. Brian patted her side with a sweaty hand,"Come one girl, you can do it." He whisperd Cassa lept and Brian could only feel air rushing past, he became tense, hanging on with all of his might. They hit the ground and Brian started to fall sideways, but he siezed Cassa's mane as she slowed. He sat there waiting fot the judges to speak, Congrats Brian Everett! You have won a blue ribbon! The speaker boomed, Go get your next horse! Here is your ribbon! A young man walked over and placed the ribbon on Cassa's bridle.

Brian smiled and quickly got Paisly.

Anna held her breath. She calmed down once they finished. Anna smiled at Brian and clapped. She ran to the barn where Brian would be and waited for him at the door.

Brian finished and walked back to the barn with Orion, Mary, Paisly, Twilight, And Cassa. They walked behind him without leads, just their riding tack, Brian wasn't leading a single one. He smiled at Anna,"Lets get these guys on the tralier and go see my sister at the REAL Shadow Ranch." He smiled weakly and led Cassa aboard.

Anna smiled. "You did wonderful!" She said. "Are you okay?" The girl asked. She watched him put the horses in the trailer before going and sitting in the passenger seat.

Brian got in the truck,"I'm good." He started the truck and headed for Shadow Ranch.

Anna didn't think he was okay. She held his hand and looked out the window. "You did good though." Anna said smiling softly.

Brian glanced away from the road for about five seconds, he leaned over and kissed her on the cheek before turning back to the road," I'm glad you care."
