Mystery smiled softly "Yes Scarlet, the water has blessed you with protection" She then thought back to a foal in Flame's herd, Flame found it funny how he'd tell foals things then they'd think it was real... But he only lead them to their deaths, Mystery had to be careful with how these stories would effect Scarlet "Yes, you are protected, but don't be running off at ANY time into dangerous situations ok? The water will only protect you if you NEED it, not if you get yourself into trouble alright?"

Dixie nodded and turned her head to look at Scarlet and Mystery. Macy also looked over at them.

"So it only protects me if I'm just standing here and something attacks me but if I go running after a bear and it turns and hurts me I'm not protected?" Scarlet nodded slowly as she took it in

West glanced around, his eyes flashing. He tried to keep a worried or anxious tone out of his voice. He swished his tail slowly and tried to calm down his running mind, because that roadblock he had mentally placed on the spiral was slowly sliding downwards. West was getting more anxious as the minutes went by

Phantom stood silently watchign and lsitening to both West and Dixie. She was 100% sure Dixie would be better within the next 30 minutes well not 100% sure but she had high hopes. She glanced at West who had a dazed look in his eyes which she knew that look all too well. She swished her tail flicking him lightly to get him out of the daze "Hey do you now how many bees are in a colony?" She asked looking at him. Yes it was random considering what was going on but that was her plan to help get him to stop spiraling.

West looked up as Phantom spoke. A flash of confusion crossed his face for a moment. -There literal could not be a more random question in a time like this- West thought. "Well... it varies greatly. Depending on what type of bee it is, if it's a new colony or an older one, how good the colony works together, how good the queen bee is at producing..." West trailed off with a slight smile. "Believe me, you do not want to ask this question unless you want to be bored to death for the next 50 years," West commented, trying to take most of the bait because he knew Phantom was trying to help

Phantom snorted quietly at Wests quick look of confusion before he started to talk. She nodded her head with a look on interest in her eyes. Was she actually interested in what he was saying? Yes absolutely because she had no clue he even knew the answer to it. "Well my schedules clear for the next 50 years so explain away" She replied with a smile "Unless you want to bore me to death with something else" She teased waiting to see what he would say next

A almost daring smile came onto West's face. Phantom would regret this. "Well... bees are much too boring for a 50 year explanation. Instead I'll give you facts about Japenese Spider Crabs." West said slowly. "They grow to be 13 feet on diameter, living up to 100 years old and getting up to 50 pounds. All legs, their shell is only 3 feet across at most. Usually 2 feet. Their mating season is March to August, and they will come up from the depths to lay eggs. About 100 feet deep. They usually live 1,000 - 1,500 feet deep. They are solitary, but most animals that know a lot about them call them gentle giants." West rambled on, really just trying to take his mind off of the colic.

Phantom tilted her head "Japense Spider Crab?" She repeated since she had never heard of it before but it did sound cool. She flicked her tail from time to time as West rambled on about the crabs. She really was amaed by how he knew so much about them "3 feet long legs? That's just wow... They sound creepy but cool at the same time" She would comment her and there while he rambled "Gentle giant... Sounds just like you" She finally commented with her smiler growing brighter

West barked a laugh, though it didn't sound very amused. "Not three foot long legs, a three foot long shell. Their legs can be 10 feet long." West said, flicking his tail. At Phantom's last comment he tilted his head, thinking about it for a moment. "I try to be." Was all he said, though his voice was a little quieter. He glanced at Dixie before thinking a little more about the spider crabs, trying to decide which facts were the most interesting.

Phantom snorted lightly at he own mix up "10 feet long!? That's even worse" She exclaimed as her eyes widened. If she ever saw one of those things she was immeadiately running the other way. "I think you are at least" She said softly before waiting to hear the rest of his rambling
