Tiger walked into a lake, washing off his sweat, he finished and retreated to graze on green grass

West took in a shallow breath and just kept walking, keeping at a slow enough pace for Dixie. He was slightly amused by the fact that Phantom thought emotional support for.. him. "Not for me, I'll be fine. I meant I can't offer any smart comforting words right now to Dixie, so you'll have to take that job." West said quietly. Maybe that little bit of amusement would help. Though, he did grab a hold of what Phantom said because it was important and helpful.

Phantom glanced back at West "Oh my bad... Your still gonna get comforting words from me I hope you know" She smiled before slowly down to get behind them which she did and she changed sides to she was next to Dixie

"What a relief." West half joked, though it was very half-hearted. He was still just trying to comprehend that Dixie had colic, take in that it was possible she might die.. -but won't- he assured himself. He also tried to think up things that might help. Wasn't there a special flower that soothed stomach aches? Didn't West eat it when he had colic, and it practically saved his life? At that point he was weak enough it had been dangerous, mostly because his broken leg was still fresh at that point. Agh, what did the flower look like... West believed it was a light lavender with white spirals that came out from a yellow center.

Dixie flicked her ears towards West and Phantom. She snorted softly and tucked her head quickly, biting right behind her front leg. - Macy kept close to Dixie. She and West were keeping her upright. Her ears were trained on her sister's rapid breathing. Her ears only flicked away when Phantom moved from West's side to hers

West closed his eyes for the ... 8th time that day, taking in a deep breath. "Phantom... can you look in the bottom of the valley, right near the water? There should be a light lavender plant with white streaks coming out from a yellow middle. If you find any, please pick a couple and bring them back?" West asked slowly. He really hoped this would work... what if it made Dixie worse? What if West was the cause of her getting more sick... and possibly dying? His worried gaze flicked over to Phantom as he opened his eyes.

Phantom knew she wasn't the best when it came to encouraging words but she did try. She watched as Dixie turned to nip at her sides "Dixie just keep your head straight and looking where your going, I know your stomach hurts but you don't want to lose your momentum..." She paused for a moment as she kept a comforting smile on ehr face even if she was panicking on the inside. "Your doing great by the way" She finally said flashing her smile brighter before turning her attention to West. She knew exactly what flower he was talking about since the medicine horse at her old herd taught her about everything so she knew that this would help sooth Dixies stomach. "Got it" She softly said with a reassuring tone since she saw that his face was full of worry. Everyone was worried but since West had suggested it she knew the 20 million questions that were probably running through his head "It'll be okay.. trust yourself" She half mouthed half whispered to him before taking off towards the bottom of the valley. As she rounded towards the water her mind was zoned in on finding the flower which she found right away. Scooping up as much as she could in her mouth but just holding them with her lips she took off once more back to the 3 of them

West nodded, saying nothing but hearing Phantom's words. -But WHAT IF that flower doesn't work well enough? What if there is a different one that would help more? What if... SHUT UP- West finally hollered at his own brain, in his own brain, which sounded weird but it worked. He just kept walking forward, bending slightly so that they mostly walked in a circle instead of shambling across the plains forever.

Phantom made it back to them and screeched to a halt in the center of their walking circle. She dropped the flower on the ground in view of West "These ones right?" She asked accidentally letting her panic slip into her voice

|
West flinched slightly as Phantom came in quickly, looking at the flowers. The panic in Phantom's voice just sent his brain into more spiraling, but he quieted it with another *inside his brain* yell. "Yes, those ones." West confirmed. "Dixie, please try to eat those flowers. They shou- will help with your stomach." West said slowly, changing the word quickly as he faltered.
