when hunter felt her breathing calm he stood up resting a hind leg and fell asleep like that it was to risky to sleep laying down any longer in his brain

She half-woke sometime in the night not feeling Hunter's warmth and flailed until her Nose brushed his ankle, and she realized it was his. Cowgirl instantly calmed down, and felt protected.

Next thing she new, it was morning.

hunter was already on the hill by the time cowgirl woke wither was sleeping next to dolly and sky was getting wild oats hunter walked back down the hill with a surpressed snort before going to the pond and getting a drink

Cowgirl Awoke and streached her thin body. A rib or 2 popped back in, like it usually did. She saw Hunter walking down a path, and figured shed follow. She wanted to talk to him anyway.

He was going to a pond, it turned out, and was drinking while she stepped up next to him and got a Morning sip.

She was getting De ja Vu as she looked across the pond, but this time there was no human to disrupt the peace. "Hunter?" She asked softly.

hunter heard hoove beats as cowgirl walked up he lifted his head as he heard his name "yes" he asked turing to face her he hated every secound of looking at how skiny she was she would be such a pretty mare if she was treted right

She sighed slightly, feeling too shy to start this conversation, but it had to be done. " I think we need to talk about..." She coughed uncomfortablely. "us i guess" she finished, flushing a bit.

"Last Night was slightly embarrassing. I felt so needy, but you handled it so well." Cowgirl Looked at him quickly before immediately looking away.

hunter almost choked as cowgirl spoke before he looked down at the small mare and placed his muzzle on her forehead "stay dont leave i-" he was cut off by dolly who came bouncing up to the pond before bouncing away to pester leaf hunter just stood there watching the filly before turning back to cowgirl with a over dramatic snort (lmao my 13 year old brother just fell trying to open the door so mum could pick him up 🤣) " I like you to cowgirl" he replyed quietly taking a step back and droping his head to look at her

She sat there stunned for a minute before smiling and leaning into his touch.

"but why? Im so thin. You shouldn't like an ug-" he pushed her slightly, interrupting her tangent.

hunter gently pushed her as she started talking again "you may be thin but that doesnt mean your ugly at one point in time 2 years ago to be exact i was thin not as thin as you but i was thin i wasnt born in shadow hill herd i was born in a abusive race horse facility being ran hard sence i was 1 yearling i looked horible " he told her before moving his rump to face her better "ugly and thin isnt what makes up a horse its whats on the inside " (now all i can think about is Prettys on the inside by chloe adams 😭)
