Ranger raised his head high and looked around, his brown eyes glinting dangerously. If anything made him angry, it was humans. He stalked a little closer to the fence, sniffing it carefully to make sure it wasn't electric. Ranger then pressed against it with his head to test it before pulling back again. The fence was sagging in one part, so Ranger went over there and studied where it attached to the wood. Then he did a quick strike with his hoof, and the top wire snapped with a quiet *zing*. Ranger looked up, expecting humans to notice, but they acted like they heard nothing... so he repeated the process. He lifted his hoof and stomped down on the second wire, which broke, and again with the last wire. This one snapped up and slashed Ranger across his shoulder, making a long red line that immedietely started blleding. He flinched back in pain but did nothing else, focusing on the humans... who were shouting to each other and looking around. "Angel!" Ranger hissed

Mini stomped her hoof and looked around. -where's Ranger?- she looked around but didn't see him anywhere...

River sniffed at the ground, a bug moved in front of her, she let out a small growl and leaped forward, eating the bug with a small snap of her jaws, River felt her stomach growl, she was still hungry, she would have to find a small left over carcass

Angel turned around surprised to see ranger. "What are u doing here?" She asked "your supposed to be with mini and the herd" she looked back at the humans who were almost finished their game

Ranger snorted slightly, tossing his silver mane. "Come. Out. Here." He growled, hopping over the bottom wire and going in, looking at Angel. "Out. PLease. I beg of you." He pleaded, trotting back out before glancing back

Mini took off into a canter in search of Ranger. "This is weird. All of a sudden horses are missing..." she didn't see the one she saved either. She wondered if they were alright. Did the humans get them!? -humans... Mike...- Mini pinned her ears and snorted as she circled the perimeter, her eyes darting from side to side.

Angel looked at ranger "I'm scared ranger" she admitted. She was new to running a herd and she felt like people were slipping away. Angel dropped her head a little.

Ranger was a bit frustrated. Why were mares like this? Angel could literally step out of the fence ... but she stood still like a post in the ground. "You don't have to be. Just follow me." He said in a gentle voice, pushing the wire down farther. "As soon as we get back Dune will help you. He's the real herd stallion, anyway." Ranger murmured, his expression a little sad as he stepped aside to let Angel through. They needed to hurry... the humans were getting up.

Mini finally stopped her death run and looked around. She pawed at the ground as she smelled something in the woods. She flicked her ears toward the direction that the smell was coming from. She looked from side to side before going to investigate. She walked into the woods and followed the smell until it became more distinct: horses. She pinned her ears as she pushed on. She saw the break in the trees and decided to watch from the safety of the woods. She only had to see one horse to know who she had stumbled upon. Grayson was pacing, his grey coat dripping in blood. Fiona was laying on the ground and frantically looking around. Mini gasped and Grayson must have heard her since he was closer than the other horses. He looked towards her and amino's blood went cold. She turned and ran until she stumbled upon a small field. She turned and watched as Grayson broke from the trees. "What are you doing here! Mini! Where have you been!?" He snorted and shook his head angrily. Mini dropped her head "I-" she was cut short when Grayson stepped forward and wrapped his neck around hers, resting his head on her back. Mini knew she should be grateful that he didn't want to hurt her and that he liked her, but she just wasn't comfortable with the idea anymore... she pulled back and looked away. Grayson was obviously embarrassed. "Sorry" he mumbled. Mini looked at him and shook her head "don't be" he watched her before speaking "where have you been? We're been worried sick!" Mini raised her head "I've been wandering..." she said. "Grayson. You should go back. They need you" he shook his head and stepped forward "no. Not without you. They need you too. We all need you. I need you.." Mini's eyes widened. "Grayson. Leave. I just need some time alone. Please... please tell Fiona I love her. Can you do that for me? Keep my sister safe. Please keep Fiona safe." Grayson nodded slowly "ok..." he turned to leave "I'm not joking when I say I need you. Please come back soon" he trotted back through the leaves and as soon as she couldn't hear him anymore, Mini collapsed onto the ground.

Angel looked at the humans then at ranger. She took a step towards the fence before hesitating. She walked through the fence. She felt like a failure and a coward.
