West flicked his ears at the small huff he heard, and turned his head just enough, just in time to see the eye roll. He turned back, knowing she wasn't in any trouble... and that this mare seemed to hate him, so he'd best stay out of her way. He placed his head on the ground before rolling once. It felt good to scratch his back again.... his wounds were healed enough they wouldn't break open

Phantom would prance around the open plain feeling like a filly again, the quietness made everything 100x better. Even if she liked being part of the herd Phantom loved the quiet even more, what also mad the quiet great was everything almost sounding echoy. She'd let out a soft whinnie before going galloping throwing bucks here and there

West snorted, standing and shaking after he was done. He decided a little peace and quiet might be nice... so even though it was winter he disobeyed his own rules and left the valley, sauntering around down on the plains. Just... walking in the silence felt good. He would go back in a minute... thought West hoped nothing would happen to the herd

Phantom would slow her gallop laughing at herself having fun, her laugh stopped short as she came to a skidding halt since she saw something out of the corner of her eye. Panic built up as she ran through so many possabilitys of what it could be -Hopefully its not wolves or a cougar.... Please just be elk or something- Phantom turned slowly to see West walking out of the valley it made her relax a bit knowing it was him, the relaxation didn't last long since she knew she'd get in troule for being out here. Phantom would run towards a huge oak tree that was nearby trying to stand downwind from him as a last attempt to not get caught

West suddenly froze, sniffing the air. His heartbeat slowed when he realized it was a horse... he couldn't tell which one, since he just got a whiff because whoever it was... they were downwind. West turned in the direction the scent would have wafted, scanning the ground till his eyes caught a big oak... and Phantom. He almost snickered at her attempts to not be seen, heard, or smelled. "I'm not going to get mad you are out of the valley... that's mostly for the foals or mares who can take care of themselves well enough." He called out, just quietly enough for her to hear. West relaxed a little more, tipping a hand hoof back and looking at the entrance to the valley.
