Idea #1:

This idea is loosely based on the scene from Stranger Things where El is closing the gate in Season 2.

The horse would be dark grey/black with maybe palomino chimera running through its shoulder, the rest being a dappled sooty color. Definitely a draft, lots of feathering. The mane and tail are thick and whipping everywhere. It has maybe a skull over its face and spikes running down its neck and back. Chains drape across it like it is being held down. It is rearing with its front hooves striking out facing the doorway/chasm thing. Around it would be a dark forest with no leaves on the trees, twisted trunks and altogether a super creepy vibe. The chasm would be a huge rip in the picture itself, with dark red hues spilling from it and black shadows trying to crawl out. Maybe you could see a claw or something reaching out. It would looked like it had been ripped in the fabric of space and time. A single blank raven would be flying in front of it, illuminated by the glow. Overall red theme.

Idea #2:

The horse looks kinda like this as a general idea. It is in a bowing position with its head tucked in and one leg tucked under. A single curved horn comes out of its forehead and overall its more dainty, graceful, serene. Light blue jewels lay draped across its body in an adornment of jewelry. However, most of the horse is a skeleton. It is bowing in front of a single gravestone, nothing else, the dirt underneath its hooves fresh. A blue moon illuminates everything in a blue glow, filling up most of the space behind them. Blue and purple hues are everywhere. A single tree stands off to the left, an oak, shadowed and dark, with a swing hanging from it, still. The grave seems brand new, with the stone being bright and uncracked. The lettering is almost visible. A bat flies across the moon. Overall blue theme.

Idea #3:

Okay so this one is special but I was thinking, first overall idea: A horse stepping through a mirror and their head curls around to the other side. On the right it'd be hell, on the left, heaven. On the left side the sun would be up, white and gold and light blue hues everywhere. Maybe golden gates in the background, with a bunch of fluffy white clouds. An etheral feeling. The horse would be white with a dappled rump, like this. The tail would be long and flowing, and of course the horse itself would be a chonky draft. Very feathered hind hooves, thick haunches, the works. Then on the right side, the lighting would be red and black. You'd see the horse's head curling around the mirror to look straight at you. The mane would be tangled and almost like spikes, dropping low. The horse's front would also look like this. However, its eyes would glow red and it might have sharp fangs and horns. A geyser of lava or a volcano could be in the background, and the actual horse with have cracks in it with bloody lava dripping out. Chains would weigh down its neck. The mirror would be simple, but a portal to a dimension, with maybe runes along the outside.

All of these would be all cuts, and I just wanted to spew some ideas out! I love every one of these (even tho they're all super spooky xD.) And I love drafts, so it works perfectly. I just hope you enjoy the ideas!

So my idea is a bit specific, but it's been stuck in my mind since I saw Gladiator 2 😁 I wanted to breed two apricots to name after the twin Emperors Caracalla and Geta from the film, and I'm halfway there already! This is Caracalla, and the manchado really does fit with the character

So there are two scenes specifically that stand out to me, one is the first arena games scene where they both have incredibly ornate outfits here and here, and I thought it would be SO cool to have this as themed art, especially with the apricots as the ginger twins :D basically it would be a double horse piece with the two apricots in the arena viewing box with some of their outfits and jewellery on, most importantly the golden laurel/wreath (I think I may have the name incorrect XD) on their heads. They could also be inside the palace with pillars and such, or they could be wearing armour like they are seen in when you first see them in the film? Sorry these ideas are all bubbling around and getting a bit confusing in my head 😂 I am happy to provide more details if needed though!

Also the piece can stray into fantasy if it feels right, I know that the film isn't super accurate so if it feels right to add something fantastical then go for it!

So I don't know if you've read Crescent City, but this is what I'm thinking and it's vaguely inspired by the book.

A nighttime cityscape, neon, red lights, downtown. Torrential rain, rivulets and puddles running down the street. Lighting up the scene is a spotlight coming from behind, giving a dramatic backlight. Perhaps the red blue flash of cop cars.

On the street, a demon horse horns, bones, red eyes, spikes everywhere. Wings ripped to shreds, looking up in fear, pleading, at the creature above it.

Above the demon, a vengeful angel. But not a nice one, oh no. The sight of this angel is somehow even more terrifying than the demon below it. It's gaping mouth and sharp teeth hover above the demon, its white wings spread out. It's eyes, glowing and beady, full of rage, glaring down at the demon below. It's hovering a few meters above the demon, with a good amount of space between.
