I've been meaning to dip my toes in to art again, but I'd like to get a tablet with a screen rather than my pen tablet. So I'm exploring options there. And isn't the only option for adobe photoshop these days to pay a subscription fee? That seems like a massive pain so I'd probably just rock with Krita

The layers thing is a bit rubbish yeah, but you honestly get used to it
Port Royal Equines
The one I have now is a $50 Samsung. xD It actually works quite well.

Ellfie, definitely recommend Procreate! I now prefer it over Photoshop in fact. It is rubbish for resizing and adding text though, so use Photoshop for that. But for actually making art, Procreate is super nice - the default brushes are more than enough to do most anything!

The apple tablet i saw that was recommended specifically for the use of procreate was a grand.. I know procreate is annoying with how many layers you can have. Of course if anyone else has a cheaper tablet and use procreate I would definitely be open to suggestions and advice. I can't afford that lol.

My first tablet like 15 years ago was like $150-200. Now I use a like $40 tablet lol. Same brand.
The Old Gods
Mine was like...300? But I wanted something with a large screen. I had one without and I always struggled with it
Moonlight Equestrian
I use Krita, I used to use photoshop so Krita was easy to get a handle on and free
Bermuda Estate
I opened procreate once and it felt like getting flashbanged in a commercial jet cockpit
