The ranch you're planning to go to probably has dogs with pups, or knows someone who does. Perhaps wait?

Fig

That's actually very true, my heeler ever since I got her she was food aggressive, dog aggressive and people aggressive and she was about 2months old. I had to nip that behavior in the ass or she would be am aggressive dog
Figtree Stud
10:56:35 Fig
Just saying from my pass experiences
Figtree Stud
10:56:01 Fig
Heelers are very protective and can be agressive
PoloStables
10:54:35 MightyMo
Another really good breed is the two mixed o have a heeler/border Collie mix and he doesn't listen as well as myheeler but he's bigger and less likely to get ran over lol

PoloStables
10:49:44 MightyMo
I personally would go w a heeler, but that's also becuz my heeler is very well behaved at 9 months old. I had a border Collie once and maybe it was just a bad experience but she wasn't the best ranch dog
Thunderbolt Park
10:49:44 Bolt
I use to live on a cattle transport place and there wasn't any other breed of dog
SandWitch Arabians
10:48:58 Witchypoo
