Hey all, here's a couple fun OC designs/ideas that were originally made for an art contest. I don't really have any use for them, so I'm popping them out here for those of you who do horse OCs! This ends on May 10th at noon GT. Good luck to everyone bidding! +++ OC One: Oresta She is based off of an Oread, which is a mountain nymph. Her body is shaded like the face of a mountain - various shades of greys, blues, and greens. Her eyes are the clear blue of the skies above the mountain peak, and she has the horns and hooves of a mountain goat. Even the reverse lace along her rump and back mimics the snowfall at the mountain's peak! Ostera is very large, but surprisingly light and nimble, able to climb any rock face and expertly navigate rocky terrain with ease. She has lots of little bird friends who perch on her, since she has a very calm and gentle demeanor. However, just like a rock slide or avalanche, when she does need to protect or defend, her fury is unmatched. SB: 25k MI: 5k AB: 150k +++ OC Two: Xylon This guy is based off of a wood nymph, so each part of him related to the forest. His name means "from the forest", and his patterns are from moss & vines. His mane and tail are also partly vines/ivy, as well as his feathers (like real plants they change color with the seasons), and his hooves are bark. He is heterochromic both green and brown, and his base coat color blends in with the trees of the forest. SB: 25k MI: 5k AB: 150k |
