Go back and demand the doctors test you for that/treat you accordingly, and if they refuse insist that they write down that THEY denied testing you for this in your records so it shows in the future. I have no idea about what you're going through, but I'm very familiar with doctors ignoring symptoms and brushing off women's (I know you didn't say your gender but this usually happens to women) pain and treatment as something not as serious as it really is/could be. Forcing them to put that they said/did this on paper usually helps get the treatment you deserve.
