I've never seen the Rumble be extended. It's like art contests all over again. Like, people that get their piece turned in on time...to just see others get an extension? It's simply not fair unless we know up front on when our piece is due. |

Agree with Wintercrest. Obviously life happens, but I don't think there should be any extensions. Have one day pieces are due, and that's that. No extensions. |

Yeah same here. I think that the extensions shouldn't really be a thing. Since people are currently in finals and such I think the first round could just have a longer time frame but no extensions. You do sign up for the rumble knowing what you're getting yourself into and what the general amount of time for each round is. I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the rules or something Llama made |

The extension is only put in place if I either don't get enough pieces in on time, or if enough people ask for it, like more than 80% of the participants in that round. Otherwise the round will end when it ends and if someone doesn't turn in their piece, oh well. And the rumble has been extended in the past, namely the last round of the 2021 Spring Rumble when everyone was having issues with the theme and getting their pieces in on time, it was extended two days. I will not have extensions exceed more than 48 hours, that's just absurd. The extensions are just in case, but I don't plan on allowing any unless in the examples provided above. This makes perfect sense! What's the point of you putting in heaps of work and some artists doing so to to have 80% not submit pieces? |

I want to say the Fall 2021 Rumble had a few extensions because we were juggling Thanksgiving and Christmas, but they were only ever 2 maybe 3 days. |

Round one of the Rumble will hopefully be up either tomorrow afternoon or Sunday morning. Just need to tidy somethings up and everything will be good to go! |
