I have a 10 gallon Tropical freshwater with two bettas,3 neon tetras, and some feeder guppies. It's got a florescent light on the light side and a black light on the right so it's makes it look really cool. I'm looking for some ideas to change things up a bit because I've had the same decor for about 4 years.

So I'm almost done redoing my 56gal. Still have to fix a few things here and there. Hubbs says he's done with his 10gal guppy tank (lol) so I need to figure out what I'm doing with that one now.

I figured I would join.
I have a 5.5 gallon tank with one male veiltail Beta named Shmebulock and a mossball named Colin jr. (my brother purchased the moss ball for his tank named it Colin and broke off a piece for me, hence the name). The tank also has a heater.

Since this thread is back up and running...
My tank lights shown before were not the correct ones for the coral, so we're back to the single strip. At the moment we're switching our focus onto making the tank more natural by adding copepods. For that, we had to buy a little tank to hang off the side. We also have two protein skimmers. This'll make it more natural and provide food for the picky eater I plan on getting: The Mandarin Goby.
My stock hasn't really changed. 3 snails, 1 firefish, and 2 chromis :) As well as some green mushrooms and other creepy crawlies. |

My tank is needing a plant update. I have no luck with the background plants. But the short and midground plants....sure, all day long.
So I took out all the background plants as they were floundering.
Also, I have determined that live bearers hate my tank. I keep buying them, and they keep dying.
I find it really weird that I can keep the difficult fish, but the easy ones die. |
