So I have an update on the relationship drama. I had an epiphany yesterday and I think I have realized why he's pushing me away. I tend to be a very clingy and over-bearing person and I think that's part of the problem. I'm thinking he's gotten tired of it and just hasn't told me what's bothering him. A possible reason behind him not communicating could be because he doesn't want me to lash out at him. No one wants to get lashed out on lol Plus, he's not a very sensitive person so he'd be very blunt about it which would've hurt my feelings because I am pretty sensitive. Anyways, I did some research too to see if I was annoying him and multiple things he is doing is pointing to the fact that I am annoying him according to my research. For example, when I'm talking, he doesn't really look at me and when we are around others he doesn't even pay attention to me. That was one of the things my research said. Another thing said that when a girlfriend is being too clingy, their boyfriend might try to find ways to avoid them which is what he does sometimes. I'm not saying that it's all my fault but I am definitely not innocent in this situation. He has made several comments to people that I've been annoying and too impatient which is very rude on his part but still. I think I'm starting to understand the full situation better. I'm so gladddd <3 And, also, I would be careful about the extent of research you do. Sometimes you latch onto information and convince yourself that that is the problemo, and it turns out to be something completely different. Reading up on crap is good, but here's a fun story. When I was in 9th grade, I had a really huge crush on this boy I played football with (before I killed my ankles and had to choose horses and only get to coach football, but, different story, I digress.) and I thought it was a good idea to learn about, and, inevitably take quizzes to see if he liked me back. Don't judge me, I was a baby XD Anyways, this was a poor choice, because I could have just asked him. Eventually, 8 months later, I did ask him, but he said he did have feelings for me, but he had had a girlfriend that whole time. My point being that I could have avoided eight months of attachment and, "he likes me, he's gonna ask me out" by directly going to him and dealing with our situation, not what the quizzes and the internet said were happening. You can put a label on everything, but not everything fits the label, ya feel? ... Anyways, I would suggest that everyone has what someone would consider 'issues:' you, me, your boyfriend, my dog's cousin's petsitter... God will put someone in your life one day that knows and sees your issues, and doesn't consider them issues. I have learned this first hand with my horse shopping experience. 3 years of looking, always coming up short, feeling bad about myself, "I'm too picky, I found one I like but I can't grow into him, etc." Finally, I found my horse. My horse was the "oh God," horse, the 4yo that the young teenager shouldn't have trained from scratch. He is now the, "oh my gosh, yay, he's in the barn today," horse that everyone loves on and would die for. He has major issues, nobody else wants to sit on him at horse shows, but I like the thrill of almost being killed, it keeps me on my toes because I train green things that are pretty predictable all the time. I know that God gave me this horse, and, similarly, he has made all of us our people, whether they're in our lives now, won't be for 40 years, or will meet next week. If this dude isn't the one, then he never was. Alright, essay over for now XD And, no worries on our RPs. Though, I suggest you find an outlet for the excess emotion I'm sure you're feeling. Writing, songwriting, worship-leading are mine, but everyone is different. ... On a different note, I have 4-inch wide, 1-inch deep punctures in my hand from my cat. I am a cat god. |

I'm planning on talking about all of it with him in person tomorrow. I wasn't saying that it specifically was but I do think that it could be a possibility. I'm still so confused about all of it lol I hope that we can work something out. If not, then it wasn't meant to be. I'll still be sad but I'm sure I can come to terms with it |

Of course, and it's really good to do the research instead of idly worrying. I'm sure you'll be able to work it out, it seems like you're being really considerate and not at all trying to end it. Every relationship goes through growing pains :) |

Indeed :) I want to be fully informed before making any kind of decision. I literally made a list of things i need to talk to him about xD I'm hoping we can have a very open discussion though. He's a very strong willed, and stubborn person lol It is very true that opposites attract though. We can be very much alike but veerrryyy much different at the same time xD |

That's really good, though, that you guys can appreciate each other's differences and embrace the similarities. It sounds like a really healthy relationship. How long have you been dating? |
