This is about to get real deep and personal, but I'm having some serious relationship issues. My boyfriend isn't really the most sensitive person and is very hard to understand. We barely talk anymore. Sometimes, if I ask a certain question, he'll completely ignore me for the rest of the day. Also, when we're around people (especially people we both know and are around a lot), he'll act like I don't exist BUT he's always fine when we're both alone. He's not communicative either. If he's upset about something, he wont say a word. Or if he's mad at me for some stupid shit, he'll ignore me without saying what i did wrong because he's extremely passive agressive. He is slightly younger than me so me and my irl friend think that its maturity issues and he just doesn't realize the pain he's causing me. Another thing is that he's so stupidly lazy and barely puts any effort into anything. I don't know if he's just losing interest in me or if it's something I'm constantly doing that is making him upset and he's just not communicating it with me. -- that got real long sorry lol |

I'm going to hopefully talk to him about it this weekend. I know this sounds so stupid but I'm giving him another chance. This wasn't a gradual change. It was pretty sudden. |

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this, friend. I don't know how long you've been together, but sometimes things get really tough when the honeymoon phase wears off, per se. Sometimes dudes are completely oblivious to the fact that they're hurting you, too. I'd ask him some open ended questions to give him a shot at saying if there is something he needs to get off his chest, or explain, etc. I would also explain that communication is really important to you/that you want to work it out with him because he is really important to you, and ask him what steps he thinks you both could take to improve communication. I know it really hurts to go through rough patches with people you love, and just know we are here for moral support <3 |
