| I used to know a 38 year old who was 5 years retired from trail riding, but she insisted on following along on every trip riderless. She passed at 42, Average I've known pass at 38 unless they colic. |

| Well, most of my horses (personally and in the game) have passed at around 20. I have a gelding right now who's not doing great and he's like 22 I think. It honestly just depends on the horse. |
