Morphine failed, and they cant give me anything stronger until after the surgery. That opinion came straight from pain management too.. Which upsets me as their logic confused me. They had me on morphine, which didnt work.. so they put me on Tylenol and Ibuprofen? So confused, lol.

Hoping to update this soon.. but so much has happened, and overall, I have lost my ability to walk. Working on all of this, and the Nerve Block wears off in a couple weeks.. Really upset about this. 🤦🏼♀️ |

As of now? I have no update for anyone. I switched surgeons out of the hospital, and he had had multiple successful surgeries. Over 50, which is the most in Texas. He had had absolutely zero unsuccessful surgeries. I have to be cleared by a GI up and down first before hand, but after that, we will go ahead with surgery! He even tried to suggest that my gall bladder be removed before we go ahead.. which is?.. odd? Lol. But thats the best I can give yall! I am currently insanely sick, so I wont be updating like crazy, but this is the most recent happenings! Just waiting to get into my GI! |

RECENT UPDATE!! So as everyone that follows this forum knows.. MALS has conquered my life, lol. This wont be a big update, but it is a bit upsetting. Currently, the buddy I have with MALS as well? Is actually starving to death.. I wont release many details, but I do have full permission to talk about him. ❤️
He is 4, and I have been around him for a long time.. His 3 surgeries to clear the ligament were unsuccessful.. He is now sedated 24/7, and is slowly starving to death.. They have looked into absolutely everything else, and now have fun out of tests.. He cant move, he refuses to take the feeding tube, and heavily refuses to eat or drink.. he is luckily getting fluids through IV, but nothing is looking good as well, and everyone has given up hope for him. He does happen to have the same surgeon as I do! He is doing all he can to help, but there isn't much left to do at all. That same surgeon is stalling with my surgery currently, and demanding that I get checked out again by another GI, after I have already done this 4 times, by 4 different GI doctors. My nerve block is wearing off, and I am seriously starting to feel the effects of it. Hoping they will at least accommodate me, and I can fight for another nerve block.. even though they already said no the first time. If I dont get this surgery in his time frame, my surgeon pretty much has little to no hope for me? This is the best update I have at the moment, but good luck wishes are appreciated! ❤️
