I am in the Army Reserves, so I have a job when I am at home! My job at home is super weird about phones at work. The military would PROBABLY not give a fuck though. xD

Diesel mechanics rock! My nephew has his associate's in diesel engine technology and design, is head diesel mechanic at the local GM dealership and runs an on-call service for farmers in his neck of Podunk in the evenings and on weekends (they all know him since he grew up there). He thinks diesel is the future, especially bio-diesel, so he keeps up with all the latest. It's a great career to be in right now. As a woman who was not allowed to major in computer science back in the day before it was illegal to keep females out of college classes I think it's fantastic that anyone can now (legally) do anything they want, but there's still more work to make workplace acceptance a thing, even over forty years later. |
