Fact: The VW Tempo is one of the hardest trucks /campervans/ vans to get. Its also interesting looking.

In 1964, Volkswagen launched a promo offering $300 bonds to families whose babies were born in a VW Beetle. So far they've made good on 403 such bonds. Not a car fact, per se, but I still think it's pretty cool.
