The dirt pad isn't part of the deal. Having a local guy my parents have used for years to do it. Guy is good enough that he can eyeball things and that bitch'll be level.

I have an initial quote of 110k for what I'm doing, but that's to make it turnkey. Cement pad on top of the dirt pad, septic tank, water hook up, electric, trailer, getting it out here, etc.

They can also double up as broods and quest mares to earn a bit of extra cash!

I saw a woman vlogging about demolishing her old home to have a new one built on the land, and she had gotten to around 35k before anyone had even put an ounce of manual labor into any of it. It was all the logistics and planning. 35k.

All horses can be shown to make a profit, in my experience it's definitely worth it, as most of my SDs are mares

Is it worth it to show mares? My brain is mush right now and I can't remember. Not breeding mares but if I have PPP+ could I just treat them like a gelding or would it not be worth it?

It's now day 4 of the mobile home pad being built and I'm already looking at about 3k worth of dirt lmfao

That's what I did. Problem being, when you're showing a couple hundred horses per night lol

I always went to the nightly show report and opened up horses that had placed first into a new tab, check to see if they leveled, if they didn't then entered them. It was a fairly quick process after a while

Henlo :3 It's your faithful Prezi, back from the dead. Well, more like Illinois, but same thing. Anways, ya girl works on trucks for a living. My friend recently told me ABS stands for "automatic brake check system," so... she inspired me to make this thread.

Ask me anything. Or just come chill and talk about cars/trucks with me LOL.

I know vehicles can be intimidating. Don't know how to change your oil and want to? A tire? Have a check engine light you're curious about? Your mechanic tell you something is wrong with your car and it sounded like he was speaking a foreign language that doesn't exist? Ask away.

Awh, no! It's literally my job <3 If I can help anyone else while doing what I love, I'm solid! I thought about starting a tiktok thing for genpop, making videos on how to do things while I am at work but I'm not sure they'd like that. xD

Do get dirty working with cars?
Do you come home smelling like oil?
Have you ever gotten hurt on the job?

Yes, I work on trucks so it's especially dirty. After they drive so many miles and do so much with their trucks, the buildup of dirt, grease, oil, coolant, any fluid really from leaking gets nasty. I have black hands all the time 🤣 almost nothing gets it off!
*
I usually smell like a mix of diesel and oil after work, but sometimes I get lucky and do computer work all day!
*
I haven't been seriously injured on the job, but I have broken fingers, gotten a concussion, and make myself bleed at least every other day.

Not by itself, but you can get an adapter and use the fifth wheel + gooseneck adapter to use a gooseneck trailer with your fifth wheel.

also is it true that diesel gas freezes and you cant use your truck if you dont keep it in a garadge if its below 40 outside? (boyfriend's uncle and dad keep telling me this is why i should get a non diesel truck)

40 is a bit of an exaggeration. We have been dealing with our trucks gelling up just now this year, but the weather has been consistently -25 to 0 degrees. Your fuel can and will gel up, I would say under 20 degrees is when you need to begin to worry. Your vehicle will not start with the fuel gelled. But you can prevent this by using winterized fuel and winter diesel treatment like Howes. I would recommend the diesel version of whatever you're looking for still. My first truck was a gas truck and I regretted not getting diesel every single day.
