Hi everyone, I got two Helix snails from one of my old teachers, (it was a project she does every year) I have no clue how old they are and their names are Sniffles and Snufffles. Anyway, i was doing a tank clean out earlier and I saw these little white bugs crawling around everywhere. I have no idea what they are and if they will hurt the snails. The bugs were tiny. Like, really really tiny. I will try and add photos but my iPad is acting up. If anyone can help, please do. Thanks.

They are probably just spring tails, if you keep the soil humid, which I assume you do. They are just harmless little soil creatures that eat decaying leaves and stuff like that. I can tell you for certain once you are able to get a picture, but I am sure thats probably what they are. No need to worry about them, they won't hurt anything.

Hmm, but spring tails leap about don't they? Best take a high resolution photo and pop it onto an appropriate web site for snail nerdy people to advise you.

They really only leap if they are disturbed or need to get off of something lol. For the most part they just crawl around in the soil and on anything else they is damp

Don't really know what they are, but this info may help. I was once playing with some snails at the beach in Maine (well, not really a beach) and there was like, these teesny tiny black bugs coming out of them. I know your's are white, just thought this could possibly help.
