Hello there!

I need some help from fellow Gamers & Horse people alike.

I am undertaking a project, where that it requires you to match a horse & rider by their personalities. Thinking from a real-Life point of view.

Example,
A skittish, reactive horse, would not be a good match for a Timid or Sensitive rider. Skittish horse would be jumpy and scare a timid rider.
However, a Skittish Horse might be a better match for a confident rider.

I am looking for suggestions on both Horse & Human personality types and how you think they might best match. It could be an array of way to match/mismatch them. How would you design a rule to match or mismatch them? What would it look like?

Some horse & rider personalities I have are:

I am open to ideas on other personality types I may have missed…or better ways to describe them.
Specifically I am looking for maybe around 6 Personality matches, which cover the bond/relationship with horse & Rider.

Also people’s opinions on personality matches in general and if a mismatched personality can actually work? Given time, Patience and training or it is always going to be a train wreck.

Fearful/Brave.

Experienced this one with my irl filly before she passed. She was an incredibly quick learner but trauma made her spooky, reactive, untrustworthy, and scared of everything. And I'll admit it- I only got brave after I sucked up all my fear of her because of this (and the fact that she was utterly massive, coming as someone who has never been around drafty horses) and found she was really stinking sweet. I was able to get her to a really good point before I unfortunaly had to put her down, and she was most definitley a horse I was starting to trust with my life.
