If the foal is to be 14.2 or shorter as an adult, it will come out PON. All depends on the height of the parents. So yes

So! I have been looking for a new job since I was last hired earlier this year due to quite frankly awful work environment. I wont get too deep into it here, but my now former boss put my mother out of a job about 2 months ago with no notice and did the same to me on monday.

But! I now have an interview on monday, so I am looking for any tips you may have! I havent really had an interview before, so I am very nervous! Anything would help and be appreciated!
About the job:
It is a fairly simple sounding job: I will be matching customers to internet plans & walking them through transactions. Its a very people skill oriented job which, I dont have a ton of confidence in, but there will be training to help with it!

LOOK UP INTERVIEW QUESTIONS!!!

My interviews have always been informal as I work in barns and they basically want to know if you can do the work and can you Show Up when you're supposed to.

I worked at an animal shelter and they did a formal interview and I was literally a gaping fish when they asked questions like 'what was a situation where you faced adversary' and 'what are your strengths'.

Know stuff about yourself even if it's a bit fluffy.

Ask Questions! They like to see that you're a bit plugged into the job.

I've never discussed pay before (always accepting it as is because I was broke and excited to have any money) - so I suggest looking up when to bargain salary/pay rate. And go in with any known time off. Do you have a vacation preplanned or an event/holiday that you are already are looking to take time off.

There's a lady on the Videos who does a great job talking about what a hiring manager looks for (and doesn't like) in an interview. She also talks about what to put/not include on a resume.

Again - I'm not very experienced in this department.

Good Luck!!!

BE EARLY! I walked in 10-15 minutes early, and after I was stationed in a room, I heard my manager say, "She's early, that's a good sign" to someone else LOL.
.
Print out your resume, and also print out your references. During my interview, they had printed it out as well, but I feel like it's a good sign to be proactive. They will ask a little bit about your old jobs, what you did and such, and make sure to have answers that match the current job (aka if they're looking for good communication skills, try to highlight something similar at an old job). I was later asked for my references, and unfortunately, I didn't have them on hand, so I had to pull out my phone and give my manager a number, which to me seems unprofessional. So maybe have a little page folded in your purse if they ask.
.
At the end, they will ask, "Do you have any questions for me?". HAVE SOME! Show that you're engaged and eager to know more. In addition, do your background research on the company, their policies and goals, etc.
.
Confidence is key! Walk in like you own the place, offer to shake hands while you introduce yourself, don't sit down until they say "have a seat" or start sitting themselves.
.
Try to play up your people skills, pretend you've done more in that area in past lines of work, and don't say you're not confident in it. Be like "Oh yeah, I did this, and I'm a quick learner and am eager to catch on to what you require for this position"
.
Outfit: Be crisp and clean, good/subtle business-like makeup (if you wear makeup), minimize lint and hair on your clothes. I would recommend dress pants and a nice blouse, probably. My manager (who interviewed me) walked in with a full-on matching dress, pants and blazer while I was in black jeans and a sweater LOL. So I think it's better to be a little overdressed than underdressed.
.
Little disclaimer, I have had ONE interview in my whole life that was super casual, no experience necessary, high schoolers/first job type for a horse show LOL. So take my advice with a grain of salt.

Hard agree with Sagebrush on confidence, even if you have no experience on certain things don't downplay yourself! I myself have only flopped one interview and I belive it failed because I leaned too heavily in what I didn't know versus what I did. Always know your strengths and weaknesses, that way you can more easily answer questions that you may not have anticipated. I would say the most important thing is to not get in your head about, you got this.

I made it out alive! It was a zoom interview but I still made sure to dress nicely, show up early, and play up my abilities like you all suggested!
I wasnt aware that it was a group interview, so there were 2 other people in there who had far more experience than myself (I only just turned 20 a month ago lol) but despite that I think it went well! The interviewer made a point to say that it was the first time hes done an interview where everyone had relevant experience and said that we all had really good answers! I should be hearing back from them by 8pm tonight :)
