Found this bugger hiding under a horse feeder while I was cleaning it out. Enjoy pics from when I flash banged him half a dozen times trying to get clear photos in the dark<3 I have no idea what sort it is, but he let me catch him in a cup and carry him around lol. Found in central CA, bout an hour from the coast, in a dark crevice :P i do have more pictures+several videos if any knowledgable spider peeps need them lol Edited at November 17, 2025 07:56 PM by KPH Equestrian

Okay I don't usually have an issue with spiders but I lowkey was creeping myself out looking at photos to try to identify this lad XD Based on my googling though, pretty sure he's a funnel web spider - originally from Australia but the species has been introduced to the US. . I'm not 100% convinced though... he's got the right abdomen shape but seems a little narrower Edited at November 17, 2025 08:05 PM by Gem

I also stepped on several fat-assed black widows<3 dont want my nosy ponies getting bitten lol. the above spider was released peacefully into a bush😌
