Novice camera failure... My husband bought a day/night vision camera and focused it on the gate to see if badgers were coming in. But I had mended the hole under the gate and sealed with stones, so all we saw on the camera was a couple of cats strolling along the back fence and me lots of times gardening! Moved camera to focus on the bird feeder, but my husband did not want to screw a tiny platform into the outside wall, so we put it inside. Yesterday, I had fantastic view of a greater spotted woodpecker feeding for several minutes. I excitedly downloaded camera pictures. No woodpecker. The memory had filled up with lots of picture of the telly, reflected from the glass in the window after dark... what a failure. Lol. Husband disapointed, maybe I will be allowed to screw it into outside wall after all. |

Lol oh no! I have lots of tips on how to get cameras attached to walls if you need any. That being said, there are lots of bird feeder cameras that only snap photos of birds present and upload them to a loud instead. Maybe you'll find those fun! It's how I get photos on my feeder. :) |
