Not sure our ocean is warm enough to swim year around. I was in the sea just yesterday for training purposes and it wasn’t warm.

Depends what kind of lifestyle you're after too. When I lived in London and met other kiwis they all found nz too slow - not an unwarranted opinion! Haha

But also for pollution too, we have the odd issue or the odd algae bloom but some countries swimming is a health risk so we are definitely lucky
