Thanks to the Artist Anonymous contest, I think I will be out of the art block soon. Today I did my very first full image digital painting! And I'm even quite happy with the result! Yay! :D Until now I always just drew the horses and had them sit on a dark grey background. Painting the background in this somewhat speedpaint style was actually more relaxing than I thought, and I definitely be painting more from now on. That being said, this was entered to the AA club contest, as the theme of the contest gave me the idea for this image. As always, click for full size.

Another painting, this time I tried to paint the horse without keeping the outlines. This one here is Amaterasu, prepared for Llama's mythology contest. It seems I love painting recently xD *Edit: forgot to mention that this time the background was NOT painted by me, it's from the fee NASA library :D |
