So, story time first. My art craze started really a year or so after I joined HEE. I loved it! I actually worked in an online program with a laptop. No touchscreen. Looking back now, I cannot believe I was actually able to even do art. Anyways, I finally got a tablet after a good year or so once I figured out the art craze wasn't going anywhere. Don't ask me why I never figured that out sooner, because I already do acrylic paintings in RL. But whatever, I also upgraded my art program and struggled with all the fancy new tools. XD. Fun fact, I still use the same program and would be using the same tablet had it not broken down (it was old!). And that leads us to now! I had been doing commissions before my tablet broke but when I was able to temp. borrow one for a bit, I discovered that my art was incredibly better than when I was doing commissions. I realized that this was because I was so worried that people would not like my creations and I would disappoint them. So when I allowed myself to be myself, they were better for me and I saw improvement in not only my happiness but also my drive to do art, my skills, my time.

So with that being said, I have for the time being decided to not open or have a shop. I will most likely take a private commission through pm and will still hold regular art auctions and do art contests, but no shop commissions. And since I have no shop, you get to have an art gallery. (Not that anyone cares but oh well.) I also would like to see how my art improves over time. 😁

Very first attempts at painting hair. Worth mentioning that the artist rumble was an extreme help to my art improvement!

Pretty much gave up on painting. I do remember briefly going back to smudging hair.

Took another stab at completely painting hair.

For some unexplainable reason, this piece truly changed my art for good and forever. I love this piece so it gets its own special shoutout. This was really a growing piece for me. Was finally happy with the hair as well in my hair drawing point.
