I pretty much want to improve my Drawing and coloring skills, so, uh, yippie! I'm open to criticism and tips! :D . (Edit: I apparently forgot to mention that I'm more then happy to do recommended coats, breed characteristics, and poses!) Edited at August 28, 2025 09:32 PM by Nocturnal Creatures

I love these so much so far! My only suggestion right now is, for the top left arabian, add another leg so it doesn't look like it's standing on only three. And maaaaaaybe make the necks a little thinner on both? If you don't want to, don't, I'm not an expert in any way. Just wanted to share my thoughts. I really love the coloring you've done with them, and the body language/poses are stunning!

Yeah, I think the neck to head and body proportions are indeed off, it's more noticeable on the Arab though. And now looking at it, the Arabian does look a bit strange with only 'three legs', lol. Thank you for the corrections!

I think these look fab; the poses are so expressive and there's a lot of personality conveyed in your style. Particularly the middle Arabian portrait with the long eyelashes - so sassy! Perhaps one of these could be developed into a larger drawing with more shading.

Ahh! Thank you, and I do plan to make actual art pieces in the future following the same style! ^^
