Notes: Really proud of this piece. If you've been following this thread, you can sometimes see that I struggle with my mane style/technique. The main purpose of this piece was to practice that difficult technique lol. Art is full of trial and error! This is also my first piece ever with horns/antlers. I also believe this is a new record for an AB price, so that is lovely. Thank you to all of you who support my art, and for keeping up with me while I take literal MONTHS to produce anything :D

Personal horse avatar for my newest WWW boy. He is WWWxWEE, so I am not expecting anything crazy. Maybe the art will have the opposite effect, of making him stronger? LOL! Anyway, this piece was quick, and I focused more on the body pattern and the dust cloud.

Poppy Splash

Notes:
This piece was inspired by an older piece of mine that you can find here in the gallery. It was another chestnut splash white in a poppy field. I am happy with the colors on this piece! I am very comfortable with my body prep and pattern methods. I am still working on my mane and tail style. I think I've found a good method, I just need to work on it. For this piece, my focus was dramatic patterning, and lighting. I feel like I need to branch out and try some more magical/mythical pieces. I think I've only made about one pegasus piece. Maybe that will come next!

So both of these pieces were super fun. Both were experimental. I wanted to try more of a swirly mane/tail pattern and attempt roan again. For the bumblebee, I am not quite sure how that happened... it was meant to be pegasus practice, but it turned into a bee... Enjoy!
