I just feel guilty posting it at the same time. I've got stock sitting around to use that I know has been used before, but this just feels wrong.
I could *maybe* redo it with a different stock.

Asfa, unless the idea seems to be really similar, like same horse recolour, atmosphere, theme, and so on, I really don't see anyone being upset about it (or even having the right to be upset, in my honest opinion). Free stock is free stock. I even find horse stock from others' art and go "Oooo I want to use that in the future!"

Yeah I dug it out from the depths of Adobe. But I suppose I can show it if I'm just going to stash it.

It was my first attempt at messing with white markings and I kinda really like the fur.

Yeah, same except I mostly use Adobe… I guess it might be a bit awkward if you’ve used the same horse and background together but (personally) I don’t see a problem with that. Unless someone has bought sole rights to an image (unlikely and not an option through Adobe!) they’ve no recourse

Looking for critique on this piece. I think I did a pretty good job but there's always room for improvement.

Quality isn't the best due to compressing it, but I'm pretty proud of this one

This is great!! I only suggest giving the mane some orange highlights that gives the viewer an impression that the flames behind it are affecting the lighting of the hair. If you'd allow me, I can PM you what I mean and the areas you woudl do it on? (:

I LOVE THIS OMG! You have gotten so good Breezie!! The only thing I would critique is the hair, give it more of a windblown look and messy strands to show the movement. A horse's mane doesn't clump into a few strands, it has lots of different strands and messy flyaways. Also, I would some more highlights on the mane and forelock to give it the same look that the front of the horse has. Because, the same amount of light is hitting the hair just like it is hitting the horses front of the body

Critique? Just trying to work myself out of an art slump lol.
Also, I'm considering moving from T2 to T1. Thoughts on that?

I think this looks very nice. Great job with lighting and highlights. My only recommendation would be to maybe add a little shadow to the front hoof :)

Mabe consider where the light is coming from in this image. Judging by the horses highlights, the light should be coming from in front of the horse when, in the background, it actually appears to be coming from behind the horse. Try removing the current highlights in order to replace them more accurately based on the lights source.
