Your horse has a different tone than the background, and the horse doesn't appear to have lighting from the background on it. I'd suggest playing around with highlighting and maybe adjusting the hue of the horse to make it better match the background. |

This is a great start!
first off your hair is very stringy try using smaller brushes to layer and define your hair and the hooves should have pieces of grad going through them to make it look like the horse is in the grass |
