06:04:07 Lux - AAs
Thank you Raven and Min, I’m still trying to figure out matching so I’ll probably hold on to his straw and find her someone else!
Lunar Wilds
06:03:21 Lux - AAs
Thank you AL, I’m also thinking about holding on to the straw to see how my WWW filly trains until three
Minerva
06:02:24 Min
Yeah not obsessed with that one to be honest Lux!
Ravenwood Farm
06:02:24 Raven
That link is good :)
For the match, maybe its a little low in int since its her weakest point and not super strong on his side?
ArcticLights
06:01:13 Ceci / (Call me) AL
Lux, INT/SPD looks iffy to me but not superbad
Lunar Wilds
05:59:04 Lux - AAs
-HEE Click-

Is this the right one Raven? Sorry I always struggle with the links apparently haha
Ravenwood Farm
05:58:13 Raven
Wrong link?
Lunar Wilds
05:57:01 Lux - AAs
Any thoughts for this match? -HEE Click-
Ravenwood Farm
05:54:00 Raven
Thanks for the advice Min and AL!
ArcticLights
05:53:40 Ceci / (Call me) AL
Match should be fine with a sven
Cappuccino
05:53:36 Heyy it's Capp
Ouuu -HEE Click- I don't even breed AAs but somehow they've infiltrated LOL
Ravenwood Farm
05:53:17 Raven
She kind of doesn't match anyone exactly unless I go further down one of the leaderboards, but maybe I should look into that
Sunni
05:52:47 Sunni bunny
I am hoping my birthday luck kicks in even tho it was yesterday.
I wanna capture 2 WWW stallions or mare's.
Minerva
05:52:23 Min
Oh yeah you'll be grand then Raven (unless RF does you dirty of course lol). The double strength in STR plus a sven would hopefully negate a slightly weak INT anyway I think?
Ravenwood Farm
05:51:14 Raven
I was thinking of svenning her
Minerva
05:50:47 Min
Yep Sunni- should be Thursday 😁
Minerva
05:50:18 Min
Id glass or med it if you can Raven but looks pretty decent otherwise!
Sunni
05:50:05 Sunni bunny
Isn't the capture party this week?
ArcticLights
05:49:38 Ceci / (Call me) AL
I would add a INT glass if possible
Ravenwood Farm
05:48:44 Raven
-HEE Click-
Is the int too low here?

It was a bit slow at first but now I've had a few people pm me to see if I could squeeze another slot so I'm hoping to auction off a few more custom slits and see what happens xD

That's awesome! If you're happy with the amount of people then definitely leave it alone for now

Also, here's some general tips for art.
- ALWAYS blur the background, even if it's just a tiny bit. Look at photography, especially comparing your phone and a digital camera. The bokeh effect in the digital camera makes the piece look better.
- Add vignette to the corners of every piece. How much depends on the darkness of the scene. Never use plain black. This helps frame the subject and draw the viewers eye in to the horse.
- Brighten a layer behind the horse. I take the silhouette of the horse and hair, put it behind the horse, turn it white/almost white, and then switch the layer to overlay, add, or soft light. Then I'll blur it and lower the opacity until it looks perfect. It really helps the horse pop. Sometimes I'll erase/fade this layer closer to the horses feet to keep the horse grounded.

I'm glad you appreciate it! Those things are stuff I ALWAYS do to my pieces and it really makes it so much better. One day I'll do a side by side comparison! What I also like to do is copy the background image, paste it over the entire art piece, use overlay/soft light, blur it, and lower the opacity a lot. This helps with cohesiveness of the piece.

I've never thought of that! That does make sense though to bring it together! I'll definitely be updating here soon using all of these tips and I'm excited to see what it looks like on my WIPs 😁😁
