I decided to try my had at art again, and tried a new body prep. the mane/tail is horrifying - my tablet has been broken for some time now so please ignore that! I'm also wondering what this is worth, as I'm debating opening my shop back open |

I love your style and the way it looks painted. It's very unique and pretty. The main thing I notice is that the horse doesn't quite seem to fit into the background, and that's mainly because of the lighting. In the background, based on the sky and also where you've placed the shadow, the light appears to be coming from behind the horse (and a little to the right), whereas the horse shows some pretty strong highlights on the side facing us. Since the horse is backlit, there shouldn't be strong highlights on the side of the horse we can see, it should be darker overall, and the parts along the back and neck and such that are close to where the light is hitting the horse should be a little glowy. Overall though, I think you did a really good job and like I said I love your style! I think a piece like this could sell for about 50-60k for sure, though I may not be the best at pricing. You could always try auctioning a piece or two to see how much people are willing to pay for it. |

 Probably just gonna be a practice piece but first manip in a year and a half so please be nice lol, just need some critique on the mane and body prep , im not even half done yet and completely out of ideas for the background so dm me some stock ideas if you'd like !! |

the mane looks good, you just need to add some more highlights and a bit more dimension in my opinion:) body prep looks good, id blend out the hooves though |

I would, lighten up, the neck. With how dark and sharp the lines are it appears the horses neck is like super defined and hollowed out. Other than that I think it looks great! |

I've been trying to improve on my manes and tails, as well as my backgrounds - blending several pictures together in an attempt to make my pieces more unique. I could really use an opinion on lighting and making the horse 'fit'. Don't mind his hooves or lack of water detail, I haven't gotten there yet lol. |

I struggle with something similar, Overall the horse looks great. He is a bit bright and very crisp compared to the foggy slightly blurry background. Maybe a bit of blue reflection on his legs, adding water details and a shadow will greatly improve the peice. |
