It'd be very hard for her to use her lids since it's on a chain link fence and is between the gate and the fence. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised since she's managed to use the key pad to get the barn door open

We had one that was awful about clips. He literally undid a snap clip in front of me and threw it across the barn. We ended up having to put a chain on his stall door and clip it out of his reach so he couldn't get loose 💀

Good start - the horse's painted/textured quality does not match the crisp background. Either make both of them textured like the horse, or work on the horse prep so it's more clear. A hard eraser will help with clear, defined outlines. Also, when crediting, you need to put the Unsplash photographer's username, not just Unsplash.com. Example, the author is Kevin Smith, you'd put kevinsmith@unsplash or something similar.

Okay. So, I was thinking of maybe starting an art shop on HEE.
Here's one of my latest pieces. Is there a market for this kind of thing, and if so how much do you think it'd be worth?

I'll be brutally honest here, so prepare yourself: I love this piece xD
Anyways, there's a few little things that I would have done differently. I would lower the brightness on those highlights; they're a tad much. I would do a slight vignette, especially around the bottom, and make it blurred around the edge too. I am not a master of dust, but the dust in this looks a little blocky and dark at the front, but the back is super well done.
overall, I hecking love this thing. Those horns? Fucking gorgeous.

Ahhh! Thank you so much! ^^ I'll definitely keep those in mind! :D

Also, was hoping for a critique on this one too XD

Lalkina Big Cut

so the first thin i notice about this piece is that the BG and horse don't quite match. the horse's dark roan parts like the head are wa too red and need to be covered in light from the BG. i also notice that the horse's lower legs look a bit too briht, maybe darken them just a little. i love love love the tail, but the mane needs some work. the ends look a bit clumped, like you used a round brush. maybe smudge it just a little? oh and maybe add some lighter bits around the de because of the sun. despite all that i love this piece and would definitely buy it.

Apprehensive about posting this here because I think I probably could've done better. But I feel like I've hit a wall here and would like some pointers.

My art pales in comparission to the beautiful art I see here, to the point where I'm just about ashamed to even ask what people think of mine. I don't and can't use a tablet, just gimp and a mouse, so when critiquing please keep that in mind when offering advice.

But I'm pretty proud of this and consider it one of my best recolors/pretty good. Any thoughts?

Okay, so I think this is pretty good. I'm assuming you took some stock and cute out the horse. The horse cut-out (if it was cut out) looks a little bumpy and uneven. A hard eraser can help with that. Also; lighting. Lighting is pretty hard for me, but you can find some good tutorials and examples. This is a good start!

While I normally do do my own cutting-I didn't do this one. It seemed fine before, so I think I fucked up while recoloring it and THAT'S what caused the unevenness.

Lighting is the bane of my existence. >.>

Thank you!

I'm pretty proud of this one and think it's one of my best ones yet but of course I still have tons to improve on, so if someone could give me some ideas of what parts still need work that would be much appreciated :)
(ignore the little transparent bit in the bottom left corner, I somehow accidentally did that when exporting the full image lol)

Plan on getting consistent....I think I'll stick with my process with this one! I'm in love with it! What could I do better for my next piece(s)? (I definitely plan on cleaning up the blur process even more, I had a heck of a time with it XD
