Allie wasn't fixed so it made sense she ran away but it still hurt. That's terrible, Glacier! I hope my current cat dies peacefully, though I don't think his death is happening anytime soon

I don't know how long it'll be before I could get a new cat after she passes. She took me through the worst parts of my life so far, and I can't explain it but she's just... Wise. You look at her and know she knows things.

Some critique on thie contest entry is appreciated :)

I love this piece! It took me a bit to find something to comment on. The only thing that really jumps out to me is the mane. It kinda just looks like a big block of hair. Maybe lower the opacity on the brush you use so it does not look as thick or blocky. It could always help to add wispy hairs to break it up a bit.

I love the lighting on the piece but the shadow seems a little odd. If the lighting is coming from directly above the horse, then the shadow should be directly below him rather than how it is in the picture here.

Other than that, I really like it! Great job!
