Wow, that made all the difference. Just looking at the two side by side is crazy! I do know that the unicorn's horn doesn't quite match the rest of the lighting but I like it that way :D

Any critiques? It was a hell of a long shot. Lots of firsts (underwater, adding fins, chimera thing XD)!

The lighting is really throwing me off on this one. The neck seems to be I shadow, the back is highlighted and I can't tell from the background of the horse should be fully highlighted or shadowed 😝 Fully highlighted with a gold tint I think would be the best way to go. Wonderful muscling as always. Yeah, the more I look at the piece, the gold tint is a must because you have a completely desaturated muzzle and legs. Pattern is beautifully done <3

The mane and the leg fins are especially spot on 😍

I'm not quite sure what chimmies part you're referring to though. What is the white line going down the side of the horse? My main suggestion is to not outline features using just stark white. Use a lighter shade of the color in that area in a smaller brush. Looking at the back fun, maybe some smudge it to the horse. I think you could make it work to transition from full scales to maybe a fewer scales to horse as opposed to scales, scales, smudge, blur, horse <3
