...Halp xD First time doing a manip from start to finish on Ibis X, plus first time painting hair! Problems I've picked out but don't know how to fix (would love some tips!!!): the hidden hind leg, wasn't sure how to repaint the hood. Stark pattern outlines; mane shadow, But please nitpick it, I love criticism Edited at October 14, 2020 12:49 AM by Tanglewood

Tangle that's so pretty! I love the dorsal stripe. First off, the eye is a weirdish shape, second if you zoom into the top of the base of the tail, you can see green? If you feel your pattering is too harsh, you can smudge the pattern around the edges abit to make it blend in properly! Blur the mane shadow out a bit more, it looks to harsh, maybe lower the opacity more. Also the horses pattern might not be a stark white, but a grey, or a blue tint or an orange tint. Basically add some colour that matches the light cast from the background. But this piece is sooo lovely!

Only thing I would say is I'm not 100% sure as I look at it where the light source is.As the mane is kind of shadowed on both sides,if that makes sense? So pick a general direction and go from there? It doesn't have to be blaring in your face,But there somewhere. I might be having a blonde moment and just not seeing it Lol. . I love the pattern work tho,And that tail is stunning <3 Edited at October 14, 2020 03:18 AM by Flipperruby30

I stole some stock from the Rumble......... #noshame 😂 This is obviously still a work in progress but I want to know what y'all think on something. So I kind of want the horse to be looking at something but I also kind of don't. An orca was already used in the rumble, and a dolphin wouldn't live in this environment. I considered a hippocampus but that would draw attention away from the unicorn. Therefore, I'm at an impasse. Help? Edit: Please notice this is the only part I would like critique on. Thank you. This kinda just made itself, lol I wanted to mainly practice my hair techniques and this ghosty horse came to be. Thoughts on the hair? Aiming for realistic. Also this is the first ghost being I've done. Did I do okay?? Edit: Forgot the credits *facepalm* Edited at October 17, 2020 05:27 PM by Breezie Rose

@Breezie Narwhals are pretty awesome, not sure how easy that would be to find stock for though.... 😜 . The piece overall is very spoopy, especially with the ghosts that are suspiciously human shaped.. 🧐😉 Pattern and muscling are spot on. I feel like the hair, the mane especially, is very thin. I can see through the hairs where the mane attaches to the neck. It took me a moment to figure out what part of the horse was ghosty, honestly. Maybe lower the opacity even more or add a glowy aura sort of thing around the horse. Just a personal preference, I genuinely have no idea what lighting does to ghosts (lol!) but I feel like right now you have a really nice, strong shadow on the horse's stomach but it doesn't extend upward enough to actually reflect the lighting of the background. That face is simply amazing though <3

Stunng! Love the detailing and the lil ghosts, just gorgeous. pony isn't fitting with the light source, if you want the horse to be more ghost like, make him more transparent. If you want him to look like a regular pon, follow the light source more. So you see how the light his hitting him from behind? The other side isn't going to be light, its going to be in a shadow.
