I tried doing the eyes several times but I feel like I can never get them to look right. Here is the best I was able to get them to look:

My biggest critique would be the feet - they dont blend into the ground at all, they seem to hover the leaves. You can add the illusion of a more natural step by shading the lower part of the hoof so it blends with the shadow, and creating tiny eraser marks in the hoof where it would touch the earth. The hair is phenomenal, but the tail could use some more highlights near the end as it kidn of disappears into the background. Lightning and overal composistion is just fabulous, great job

Thank you!! Super appreciate the feedback and tips, especially with grounding/connecting to the shadow. Tried blurring the feet for a while but just couldn't get it to connect quite right😅

I really love the colors in the piece! Great job blending the tail to the horse. My recommendation would be to work on making the muscles and features clearer. Especially looking at the muzzle, face, and hooves. Only other thing is lighting on the stomach. Seems a little too light to me. Wonderful job!

Actually quite proud of this piece (especially the pattern and lighting) but I would love any suggestions you may have :)
